 I just found this interesting, it gives some perspective on the Twilight hysteria out there.

Tithing to the Mormon/LDS church is 10%, standard, yeah, and if Meyer and/or her husband are of committed standing, they can get in trouble if they don't give that much.

That said, I'm fairly sure that there are so many contributions to other problematic places from authors/actors/celebs that we DON'T know of.
