I like the rhythm of single to multi-syllable with Dorian and Darius. BUM BA-da-dum. Single-single feels too abrupt to me; single-double feels better, but a bit martial. Personally, my favorite is usually double-triple or triple-double, but I'm quirky that way. ;-)
