There's a little guessing involved, plus the direction you point the controller kinda dictates which way your guy starts moving. Plus, quick wrist motions tend to make things go faster than actual swings. I think it only tracks its angles, not a whole lot by spatial movement.

Mine is supposed to arrive today. I'm so excited! You'll pick up Wii Sports and such soon enough. I suggest picking up Mario Galaxy next.
