in which I stick up for Sarah Palin

Allright, the election is over, and America has spoken. So is there any reason to keep reporting on Sarah Palin? yes, i agree with you on principle. and honestly, i wish they'd just let her go away. but also honestly? there is a little tiny part of me that says she wanted all of the attention during the race... created the drama, put herself before the party and the country, and so she should just suck it up.

that's a small, hateful part. generally i am a very nice girl full of love and compassion toward my fellow persons. (*snicker*)

heh heh heh- yeah, don't get me wrong, I do think she's seeking out a lot of attention these days on her own, and I don't begrudge any criticisms of her as a politician...

What was bugging me were more the leaks from McCain's advisers/staffers, saying stuff like she answered the door in a towel and her family are 'hillbillies' and she doesn't know Africa is a continent, bla bla. They seem to be hanging her totally out to dry when a few weeks ago she was their crowd-getting savior.

and, of course, the media is lapping it up.
