vacation

I've taken the week off of work this week, which was well needed- a little vacation at home. In addition to the beaver's bend trip, I've been painting a lot, hanging out in my backyard, running, and doing all of the things I love.

A vacation at home sounds good. As much as I love to travel, I only get to travel on my days off from work, then have to jump back into work usually the day after we return. I enjoy being home. I've been really stressed out about work lately, too, so being home and being lazy and being comfortable sounds fantastic.

I want to go to a roller derby bout. I've never been, and they seem fun.
