I just read this book and it was the most emotional difficult book I have ever read. It is an account of the 102 minutes inside the Twin Towers from people who survived and who did not survive. I am glad I read the book but it brought back all the terror and fear of that day and after.

It's cooled off in the city!

That's right Laura, the Hampton Jitney was on Sex and the City-I think their second season-when they had the Hampton house and Carrie runs into Mr. Big with Natasha.

And NYC is expensive. It's always amazes me how much it is too rent a car. But then again the rental companies know how expennsive it is to actually own a car so they can basically charge and arm and a leg, because people will pay if they need a car.

Have you heard about those services they are running in cities like Seattle where you can borrow a car for an hour to run errands and then return it to designated spots in the city? I think the idea is to reduce the need to own cars which would be better for the environment. I can't say I'd ever want to drive in NYC but I could see that would make sense if you lived somewhere where a car would be useful for errands but not an everyday necessity.

I actually have heard about that-I think it's called zipcar. Jason and I are going to be looking into it. Although Jason seems to be obsessed with us having our own car. I humor him, but truthfully I don't think it will happen until we at least have a baby. And even then I'm not sure if we would get a car. But zipcar is definitely something I need to research further.
