You know, I think his contributions to the Floyd sound don't get enough attention. Of course, everybody thinks of Glimour and Waters, but Wright really brought a lot of texture, really adding to the songs and rounding out the whole Pink Floyd vibe.

Of course, I'm just a drummer, so I dunno.

for me all four members were essential to the group. take one away, and it's not really Pink Floyd to my ears. and yeah, I'm only focusing on the band's body of work from Meddle to The Wall (and the Live in Pompeii DVD).
