Aww, I loved the contrast between Owen's gruffness with everyone else and his (seemly endless supply of) patience with Bart. It was also nice to see the Squad mentioned as dealing with more than just superhuman crises. Your Max voice was spot-on! Bart's freak out at discovering his brother is a (former)Rogue and the son of the man who killed Tim's dad was a nice touch.

This was an excellent story! Thanks for posting!

Owen has a lot reasons to be suspicious of the Bats; he's never really going to have a good relationship with any of them.

The Suicide Squad investigated a pharmaceutical company in one of the later arcs of Manhunter, and they were sent after a defense industry company in their mini. They do deal with non-super crime, even though they are a black ops outfit, so I can see Owen being sent in to investigate an international organized crime outfit.

Poor Max didn't sign up for this. Bart didn't used to have this complicated a life.

Awww! Thank you so much! I absolutely love it. This is exactly the kind of story I was hoping for, sweet and domestic but still them, a little dorky and sarcastic. You did an amazing job on Cass's voice, and Kon's personality, and their interaction, and the flashback was really cute.

I'm really glad you liked it! I always loved Kon/Cass, so I was very happy to have an excuse to write them.

Oh, this was so sweet! I loved the crazy interactions between the rest of the team. This line: 'The rest of the team was gathered in the kitchen of the Tower, planning out what they hoped would become the annual "Titans Yuletide-Solstice-Chanukah-Christmas-Boxing Day-Kwanza-Diwali-Eid" party.' totally made me laugh out loud.

And then the quiet moment between Kon and Tim, starting with: "Kon had taken the opportunity to slip out unnoticed, or as unnoticed as you could be in a room occupied by a Robin." Hehe! Tim's attempt to comfort Kon, complete with the statement that he would be lying to the team (clearly for their own good), so very Tim. And the end totally made me squee!!! Yay for mistletoe! I loved the characterization here all around. Thank you so much for this sweet treat on Christmas morning! I loved it!

Poor Kon! He missed out on so much, growing up in a cloning tank. And Tim is such a grinch, vetoing the live reindeer! Excellent characterization, with a sweet kiss at the end. This was terrific! Thanks for posting!

You're welcome! It was the first time I'd really written anything focused on those two and it was actually a lot of fun to write. I'm glad you liked it!

Cissie's POV was interesting, seeing her confront her jealousy (and the ridiculousness of it). Anita's survival skills were surprising; she seems to have almost as many hidden facets as Robin. The cameo by the boys at the end was adorable!

This was exactly what I wanted. I loved the characterization of the core four, of course, and it was great seeing them hanging out, being friends, and de-stressing Tim. But what I really loved was the care and thought you put into Cissie, Anita, and Greta. It was wonderful to see a snippet of their lives after YJ. I really miss these characters, and I was so glad to get a fic focusing on them.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! I miss those characters too, and I really wanted to do them...uh...justice. ^_~ I feel like they kind of got shafted by DC, and I really wanted them to go on and have cool, interesting lives almost to spite DC, but that would make sense within the context of the characters, too. It's wonderful to know that it worked for you. ^_^

I loved it SO much. The lack of canon for Cissie, Anita, and Greta makes me sad, so I devour any fic that has them in it. Thanks again!
