For the past month, my internet has been extensively crashing and when it hasn't, I haven't been near it to do the things that I need to do. As a result, this entry is later than I wanted it to be - but that just proves the necessity of it ( Read more... )

Can you give me some more detail about what might be involved? I've never run a challenge before, but I'd hate to see this not happen, so I might be willing to try.

I apologize for this taking a ridiculous amount of time. My computer died and all I could get on is twitter and plurk. 8|

At this point some of my issues have cleared up so I can offer help with it if you do this. It's the keeping/remembering deadlines that gets a little fishy which is why I can't do it alone.

Sure, I'd be fine with that. I'd definitely need the help; I'm moving in December, so it's going to be a bit frantic.

Speaking of deadlines, it seems to me that moving deadlines back should be something we might want to consider; this is quite late to be starting. No criticism, I swear, but people will need time to sign up and to write.

Talking on plurk is a good idea. I always get the messages immediately on there with no trouble, so it's a lot more reliable.

And I was thinking that about the deadlines. I have a few ideas for that and I will go friend you on plurk so we can discuss things? Mine is groovify

God, I'd love to help, but I've been so busy lately...still, I'm sure I can do *something*. Last year I put the stories up on my webspace (I've changed my LJ name since, but I'm the same person). Let me know what you need and I'll try to help make it happen.

Dear god, my computer died and all I could get was twitter and plurk which totally screwed this up. 8} (lol didn't that happen last year too? what is with my computers?)

I still have the folder on the server from last year. Can you use FTP? It's not hard, with a free client like Filezilla. I'll PM you the username and password info for logging in. I've given you 5 gig, which should be way more than enough, but if you need me to give you more for some reason, let me know!
