I met a hardcore tourist on the ferry. He had just completed a 400km tour in 22 hours and claimed that was slow. It is a good thing I ran into him; otherwise I would still be circling the Delta. Vancouver turned into a hassle to bicycle into. The ferry is a good distance (25km) from the city and the only access is a large highway. The highway
