... if only for the reason that it decoupled the millionaire image and the million dollar equity account holders.
The millionaire next door
1) Drinks whiskey, not that fancy award winning wine 2) Drive simple cars, not the fancy luxury sports cars 3) Shops at Home Depot and Costco, not at Saks 5th Ave
and
4) Has over $1M in liquid assets, not like those who drink fancy wines, drive luxury cars, and shop at Saks.
But I must agree. It gets redundant a few quick chapters in.
Ignore the Readers' List--it's a bunch of rubbish. The Board's list is awesome. Except, they forgot Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon (you may love that book, but you might be aggravated by it) and Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Rock those books.
