So I have this date tonight. Nothing fancy, but the girl really likes me, so I agreed to have dinner with her. Something to do none the less. Everything was all set until this morning. I got a text from Jessica; the other one-in-a-billion girl who makes my world stop whenever she calls. All of a sudden my plans with Megan are not so important

Josh..you disappoint me! Ah well..you know how I feel about such things. You know my reccomendation, but I will say it anyway.. Don't ditch. You of all people should know better. I suppose its standard for people to desire what is unattainable. Its just bothersome for the nice ones who would treat you right. Nothing quite like watching someone you care about, be it a friend or would be lover, lust after someone who really only calls as a last resort. In the end...don't settle for being second best. Trust me. Later on, you'll save yourself lots of grief.
