yeah - there was no convenient way to access the internet at the Park Manor otherwise I would have tried to see what the SD bears were up to this weekend.

Except for the sort of crummy weather on Friday and Saturday, the weather is probably Southern California's top attraction. I do appreciate it since I just returned from Minnesota. We're probably a bit too touristy. And then there's the ocean. And yes, San Diego does have some rather hot bears. Glad to hear you had a good time.

I found all the steep hills at the San Diego Zoo taxing. And that lame ride-the-bus tour was worthless (which I realized without actually doing it). You never get adequate exposure to any of the animals that way.

Still, though, great zoo (topography aside)!
