Techie Question

mp3 file management:  I need a software, preferably free, that will allow me to modify the information affiliated with the given mp3 file.  I need to do more than just change the name . . . I need to change the title, the album title, etc.  A program which allows this modification in a spreadsheet type format would be ideal.

what say you?

iTunes certainly works well, but I'm addicted to this tool:

Wonderful program. I record very short podcasts (about 7 minutes long each), and I typically record as many as nine at a time. I can then go in after recording them and do bulk updates to the ID3 tags before moving them to my host. Works great!

If any of the information on the songs you're renaming need to be all the same. Just highlight all the songs you want to change in iTunes, right click and select Get Info, and then update the information. ^_^
