So if you were throwing a party on a beautiful afternoon in the summer for a ton of homos of varying ages, what tunes would you put on? Which albums would create just the right ambiance and background music?
There are several gay radio stations which broadcast on the web that might be worth trying. If you wanted an Australian one, for example, there's Joy FM (Melbourne - this one broadcasts on the FM dial as well), but there would be plenty from around the world as well.
I know you have very ecclectic tastes in music, but for summer stuff, I'd go with 80's to current pop, it seems to have broad appeal and even when they groan at a song, you know secretly one of them is loving it :D
Albums: (perferably in a mix setting) Ting Tings - We Started Nothing, Scissor Sisters - Tah Dah! and Scissor Sisters, Sophie Ellis Bextor - Read My Lips, Peaches (all albums), MIA (all albums, Beach Boys, Santogold, Lily Allen - Alright, Junior Senior, Daft Punk, Brazilian Girls, Blondie - Parallel Lines
Songs Amy Winehoure "Rehab" Stevie Wonder "I Wish" and "Superstition" Nelly Furtado "Party" Duffy "Mercy" Crystal Waters "100% Pure Love" Moony "Dove"
