Kitchen Appliances . . . not just Black and White

Since March is National Ask a Question month - I thought I would turn the tables and ask you a question . . .

Kitchen Appliances . . . Black . . . White . . . Bisque . . . Stainless Steel . . . ? ? ?

My kitchen is not tiny, but it is not big either.  I am planning on buying a range/stove and a refrigerator, and I am curious to know what you all ( Read more... )

black... gray..... platinum??? if there's such a color :0)

but if you could afford stainless steel then go for it! :) it does not corrode and it's durability is way more better than others.

and I agree, don't go for white... it stains easily....

If you like the black, you can probably find a way to make it work. Perhaps by finding a couple other things to make black so you aren't looking at a white kitchen with one or two bits of black in it.

Stainless. Has a modern and classic look to it. also easier if you ever want to resell. Black can come in many shades. As a future architect I prefer stainless even in the most traditional settings. Plus clean and care is super easy and not worry about fading or yellowing.

I personally would go for stainless steel, then white, then black. The reason I put black last is because dust makes it look dirty fast.

Hey...fan of BTALK here...I would not go with white because if you scratch the surface, dirt and other food stuffs will find its way into the cracks and leave a mark. Black is the way to go...if the counter is near the sink, make sure you mop up any water so you avoid hard water stains.
