So you advised non-Bush supporters just not to vote?

No I just felt most people voted for Kerry, a empty Democratic suit, because they didn't like Bush. Very few people actually voted for John Kerry, most voted against Bush. Those who voted in Democratic primaries and the Democratic party failed to produce a decent canidate to beat a wounded Bush. If they had nominated John Edwards, George Bush would not be President right now.

I honestly liked Kerry. Sure, I think at first it was my dislike of Bush that got me to pay close enough attention to like him, but in the end I liked Kerry as much or more as I've ever liked any presidential candidate. Sure there are always those guys in the primaries who you wish would make it but don't. But Kerry was a strong runner, and I think he would have done well as our president. And besides, even if you did go the path of just voting against Bush, I think this was one of those elections where that was a completely valid thing to do.

Kerry was not a strong runner, he was a safe choice canidate. Someone who would not say anything to shake things up or try to propose ideas like Dean (even if his ideas were crazy) and Edwards (who actually had something to say. All Kerry seemed to say was "I am not George Bush"

"takes care of his district" is not enough. I am sure Duke Cunningham, Teddy Kennedy and many other past corrupt congressmen or senators have "taken care of his district" or state and brought home some nice projects to his district.

Delay's district also has the problem of he has lost a good deal of the power you referred to. The Republicans and Majority Leader John Boehner are going to keep Delay on the political bench and keep him far from anything meaningful. Delay will more than likely never hold a powerful position any time soon if ever. Outside of his district his political career is on life support.

Here is a link to the Letter of Admonishment from Congress. Looks like he has broken some rules.
