I FINALLY caught up on my grading too-- I finished all 3 piles of the "old" grading (some of it 3 weeks old!). I really needed this weekend to sit in my jammies and get caught up.

New couch came in! Cool. Can't wait to see it.
see you in the tower....tee

By the way--- you CRACK ME UP with your 'planning' of the weeks' dinners days in advance. I don't even know what I'm eating tonight for dinner, let alone 4 days from now.
Geek. I bet you used to plan your week's outfits in grade school!

Sounds like your house is really coming along! Will you post a picture of the new acquisitions? I love seeing what couches people pick out.

I really agonized over colors for our nursery. I really like the idea of a pale powdery blue, but our kitchen is a green-y blue, and I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to have too much of that. I didn't want pink, because it would just be way too girly with the bedroom decor. So I ended up (with the help of several coworkers with great taste) deciding to go with a creamy pale yellow for the top half of the wall and a creamy white for the bottom half. It's not painted yet, but hopefully will be soon.

I'm excited about T-giving, too. Lots of family! What kind of pies are you making? When you start to get the nesting bug, you're going to go nuts.

Also: I just recently had pumpkin soup for the first time and loved it! I'm not a big fan of squash soup, so I wasn't expecting to like it, but it was great. Do you have a good recipe for it? DO you like it a little chunky or totally pureed?
