Oranie

Oranie is sitting on a piece of string and will most likely remain sitting on this piece of string throughout the remainder of the day. I suppose Oranie should live it up because her world is about to be rocked ( Read more... )

have fun on your walk today. It looks cloudy out?

Good ole Earl just phone me, he can't meet this afternoon to write up the bid, so I have to meet him tomorrow to sign the paperwork.

Good news on the car seat. I still think it's weird that Civics are smaller now than in 1981. It must be true, but they *look* bigger now. My family of 5 had a 1981 Civic as our *only* car. Two car seats plus a teenager in the back (me), and my 6"5' Dad in the front with my Mom--- we drove all the way to Idaho like that. In the Summer. Sounds like fun, eh?

Maybe the difference is the infant car seat vs. the toddler car seat. Infant car seats are now rear facing and they have to be in the middle. The toddler car (12 months and older) seat is more like a regular seat since it faces the front of the car. It isn't so bulky. In 1981, there probably wasn't all this rigamorale. Plus, cars come with this new LATCH system. . .so much to learn.

Earl. . .too bad. It is sunny out now. Not in your part of the woods?

Maybe I will give your cats presents when the bebe is born, so they don't feel left out!
Xenophanes new fave toy is this knitted string with a pom-pom at the end (it was a tie on some slipper socks). He loves that thing! Carries it around everywhere.

Sorry to take up so much of your commetns wall! Bad tee!

I just thought of something funny that Michael said to me the other day... I was around him and his 3 kids, and his youngest (Sophia) was there, she is about 15 months old (a year and a couple months), and he said to me, "Yeah, she is just getting to the point where she is as smart as our cats, and soon to overtake them." Ha!

String is to Oranie as the Xbox 360 is to SG.

You guys lease? How did I not know that? Please write an essay in which you explain why you lease and not buy. We're driving our cars into the ground, enjoying no payments, but soon I suspect one of them will sputter and die. I want a Yaris. Do we lease or buy?

It's 76 degrees and sunny here in the 'Nati, and boy am I taking the afternoon off from work! I wish I could take a walk. Hmph.

Regina Spektor--copy her CD for me pleeze? Me copy something for you in return if you want. :)

And YES YES YES, I would TEWTALLY LOVE to redesign JB Blog. Let's talk today and you can give me a sense of what you want/need. New Tree career?

WOW! Let me order my responses:

1. String. The kid loves string. All you need to do is give her a shoe string and she is set for a year.

2. Yes, we lease. Nickleby is very pro-lease. I am not sure what we are going to do with the next car. We will probably consider some used cars. I like the Subaru and Volvo station wagons. Of course, I would love to do a hybrid. A new hybrid. . .oh. . .that would be nice but pricey. We will have to start looking into all our options come summer.

3. 76 degree there!?! Get out!

4. Regina. . .yes. Me copy. I will buy some blank CDs for you. Wait. . .can I copy it for you? It is on my IPod. Me talk to Shnike about it.

5. Totally surprised by your response. I thought that you wouldn't want to do it. Yes. I will give you my password and some ideas and I will be very interested in what you will produce for me. I will pay by the hour. I figure that I would like a Spring motif of sorts. Rebirth and birth mayhaps.

1. Love that Oranie. One in a million kitty.

2. But WHY? Why is Nickleby pro-lease? What are the pros? B/c you get a new car every few years? Please help Tree to understand.

3. Way! Not yankin' yer chain, dude! :D

4. Hmmm. They are on your computer in iTunes, yes? You can burn CDs with iTunes.

5. "mayhaps": LOVE IT!!!! NERD ALERT!!!! (did you see the doggie with the nerd glasses on CO?) Okay, let's talk about the JB Revamp.

Thank you. Thank you. Tree and I worked hard on it last night. Tree is my designer and we talked through some of my ideas. MG came into the room and he was like, "What are you two doing?" He no understand. I wouldn't mind toning down the purple and green a tad and I need new pics. Lots of changes, Meds!
