My car's been leaking gas for a while. Mostly small amounts here and there. It's gotten a LOT worse and something had to be done about it. We took it to a dealership to see what they thought it was.  They wanted to completely replace this part and charge us over 400 dollars. Yeah, I thought it was. But the thing that was leaking was right next to the recalled part (which, incidentally, the dealership was claiming had already been replaced) so we would have had to pay for it.
