I second your rant...and coming from student teaching 1st and 3rd grade...I was appalled that they have stopped teaching grammer. I unfortunately was not taught as much grammer as others...but I wish I had been...I wish I knew more. I don't think I knew how to use a comma until I was in high school. If we stop teaching grammer and other such things how will we ever be able to continue to have future writers, playwrights, and poets in our country...but wait...I forgot...those are artsy professions and they have stopped teaching that in our schools as well.

Sheesh!

Backwoods country education? Hell I didn't think Boonsboro was that bad. Ok, well maybe it was that bad but still. that is of course if I am correct as to who this is. It's all guess work at this point.

boonsboro's not that bad - it's more of a poke at the sense that, i'm not from a prestigious high school, and yet I still gathered basic grammar skills...

and who might this be?

LOL, Well let me see think back about 13 years and you might find me in your memory, try HJC in 1992/1993. Find the goth chick from the theater department and you might figure it out. My name is Jessyka Lafferty if that helps.
