I was channel surfing earlier and I stopped on C-SPAN2 for a couple of minutes. Then I got bored and changed the channel. Three channels later, I finally realized what the man on C-SPAN2 had said just before I turned him off:

"Our collective attention span as Americans is getting shorter and shorter."

And then, my friends, I laughed.

Mom: I wanna watch The Young and the Restless. I used to watch that when you were a kid. Or maybe before you were born.

Me: Yeah, I remember it.

Mom: Were you born?

Me: Well, if I remember...

Mom: Who knows if you don't have false memories?

Me: Your face has false memories.
