I was talking to a co-worker last night..his new puppy gshep is going through search and rescue training. I have been thinking about training max for narcotics/patrol, but everyone says the older they are the harder they are to learn commands, get a puppy and teach it from there. I went to the range today at 3pm to polish off a 50round box of .45's (gotta work artesia all night tonight, might wanna polish up on my shooting). Well im shooting 280grain +P .45's out of my 1911 (the ammo we carry in patrol). About 2 clips out and my front sight blows right off. At 4am this morning when I went to Walmart it was already 75F and some pretty gusty winds due to the dying down of the hurricane over in Florida.

I just got off the phone with my dad. He got his book published afew months ago. Back in 1995 he had written a book about growing up in the 60's-70's-80's, meeting a woman, having kids, life during the vietnam war and all that. I was playing with HBO at 2am this morning, doubtful I would find anything good to watch online when I came across 'Underworld'. This movie rocks! It's like Romeo and Juliet but with Vampires and Werewolves. If you haven't seen it yet, ya gotta watch it! :-D
