I just watched the first episode of "Lost In Austen," and I LOVED it! Love, Love, Love It!

Kali, per our earlier conversation re: the suckiness of Austen rip offs, I can only say that this falls directly into that category, but I LOVE IT anyway. I am ALL-CAPS CHARMED.

I cannot wait until Wednesday! Woo-hoo!

That, my friend, is exactly what I am saying. Televised Austen fanfic, right down to the Mary Sue who finds herself swapping placing with Elizabeth Bennett (ok, well... she's not really that Sue-ish, but maybe a little bit).

Tell you what, though: Alex Kingston and Hugh Bonneville play the Bennett parents, and they are terrific. Mrs. Bennett is actually a bit menacing while still being perfectly in character with her weeping and her wailing.
