I've been having some trouble sleeping and I'm not exactly sure what to do about it. Sleeping pills, and all pills in general actually, kinda freak me out. Always have. Drugs in general actually. I suppose that's good, it means I could never be addicted to drugs but it's starting to effect me more and more. Grr. Maybe it's related to illness or ( Read more... )

I'd recommend trying melatonin for your sleeping problems. I was having sleep issues last year and that worked really well for me. It's just an all natural dietary supplement that you take about a half hour before bed and I've never experienced any side effects besides being knocked out. You can pick it up at Walgreens. I would definitely stay away from other sleeping pills, especially in the light of Heath Ledger's death-by-sleeping pills fiasco. They're scaring me a bit right now too.

Maybe steering away from coffee for a bit would help? Maybe that's what causing your troubles with sleep?
