Grazie, Silvio. Por desgracia I don't find myself in the mood for either a big party nor a weekend away. I feel I shall sit out on the balcony and write some poetry in the rain...

*sigh* If you refuse to leave Paris, mio caro, then I must come to join you there. We can dine together, at the very least. In the meantime, there are birthday gifts coming your way, thanks to the good efforts of Signorina Aswanargent. A box of chocolates and a stack of brightly-coloured parcels, which perhaps should be unwrapped in private.
