Almost dying changes nothing...

Sep 16, 2008 21:10

Sorry this is so short/non-specific. I gotta get back to work. At least I got to watch the episode. :) I'm so happy it's back!!!

- um, why couldn't she call an ambulance herself?
- Yay Cuddy!
- OMG! they are using the new fluid pumps!!! [Sorry, but our pumps were recently replaced with the ones we see in the patients' rooms this episode ... we hate the IV fluid tubing that goes with the pumps - too long and difficult to push meds quickly by hand ... anyway, it's hilarious that they are using the same pumps. Funny to me, anyway]
- So interesting how the whole team is prying into House and Wilson's relationship - I mean, the newbies? Oh, House just outed 13's Huntington's! She's negative? Really?
- oh, look how House's face changes when Wilson says he's resigning. He doesn't want to lose him.
- House can't concentrate. What is the deal with 13? Very interesting what Taub says about House setting the rules and being allowed to break them... Nice. In front of the team?
- "37? Impressive..." LOL.
- Why is 13 fighting for the fetus? It really doesn't have a chance.
- LOL: Cameron's comment about sleeping with Wilson.
- Why is 13 so upset during the surgery? Chase: "I hate visitors' day..." LOL.
- More Cuddy!!! Nice suit. Oh, look how she sits on her desk. She doesn't understand how House can feel not even a little guilt. (because she would definitely feel guilty) But she is right. Wilson needs to know he is not alone.
- "Your friendship matters more to me than this patient." Wow. And he really left. Although, it's a cardiac arrest; everyone knows what to do in a cardiac arrest. House wouldn't do anything different ... unless he knew and was going to reveal what was wrong with the patient.
- LOL, they ran to Cuddy. And she leaves them alone.
- Oooo! Cuddy confronting House! Nice lines! She just keeps nailing House on his avoidant/distancing behavior.
- Hahaha! She disconnected his cable! LOL! Nice entrapment, Cuddy! Stopping Wilson's recommendations and stopping House from getting TV. ILher!
- Why is Taub playing therapist? Go, Kutner!
- LOL, Wilson and House on the couch: expressions are priceless. Cuddy is awesome in this scene. She is so right that she can't do it for them. And the way they sit back down when she tuts at them. And her pointing out the similarities, haha. And how she desperately tries to work on them both. She's been pushing House more (out of pity for Wilson), but she finally snaps at Wilson (because he is at fault here, too). "Go to hell!" LOL. But he walks away. Awww.
- Chase admits he'd do it for House. Interesting. Kutner and his wild ideas. Cool.
- What is up with 13? Is she fighting for any life because hers is being cut short?
- What? Not any local? That's horrible.
- Nice conversation with Cameron. Wilson needed to know he's not alone. And that it's ok to hurt.
- Foreman's opinion is interesting: that Cuddy only sees Wilson as a way to control House
- Ok. 13 wants to make a difference.
- Haha. Cuddy's gasp at House's grab for the remote. She just wants House to admit some feelings to Wilson.
- House again pulls the answer out of thin air.
- "Almost dying changes nothing; dying changes everything."
- Wow. House actually said it! And so does Wilson. Yikes. Ok, I understand the playing games and manipulating and pushing people away part. But Wilson really sees it as spreading misery and says that maybe they were never friends. What? WTH? Does he really think that?

Promo: So that's what the PI is for. No Cuddy?

I'll be checking in from time to time, but I gotta log off now. I just loved how Cuddy dealt with House here. And I'm not quite sure how I feel about Wilson. Definitely need to rewatch and dissect this ep in the morning. &hearts&hearts&hearts
