But I'm in a case that's been going for over four hours (granted that's not *that* long, but) and I'm hungry (it's 730 and I haven't eaten since 1130) and cold (I can't feel my toes anymore) ... It's really beautiful here but...
No cell phone signal!!! At least not at the hotel which is all the way up a mountain. I am at Lake Tahoe for my cousin's wedding. It's my mom's side of the family so there's going to be a lot of food and music and dancing and joking around. The Buots are quite a boisterous bunch, LOL. what's wrong with this picture?
So I'm on the train from Point Pleasant Beach (in NJ), after enjoying the first beach day of the season!!! Too bad it was rather chilly - about 74 but very windy - apparently the water temp was 54). But we stuck it out for 7 hours. Lots of sun, shore food (cheesesteaks, zeppolis, calzones, cheese fries, Italian ices) and sand blowing in our faces. ( Read more... ) -

So, I started playing 80s music today because the previous surgeon started singing along. We've switched surgeons now and he's also singing along at intervals. ... Because I woke up extra early (on a Monday?!) and I'm simply giddy! I've been telling all the nurses that it's House's season finale tonight (and Bones, too). I've even shown them the Huddy bedside background I put on my blackberry, LOL. WOW. That was so amazing on so many levels. I couldn't resist peeking at posts when I got home and after I did I just had to watch it. And then stay up to write my thoughts. I'm so wired right now ...

Nice couple of episodes tonight! Both shows using the events of the episode to give us insight to the characters' relationships. I was expecting this in Bones; it was a pleasant surprise in House. I was fearing that the House episode would be terribly campy, but it worked for me *and* gave us lots of yummy Huddy interaction. I'm still trying to ( Read more... ) -
