my brain is nor functioning on all cylinders yet - 2 percoset every 4 hours may have something to do with that, but Tony brought me my notebook. rt knee still hurts like sin, and I'm prob in hospital until Sunday or monday, then possibly a week of rehab depending on insurance coverage but they say I'm not recovering badly so far.

I had the 6 mo breast follow-up appt this morning; the 1mm spot has not changed in 6 months; the surgeon thinks it is a bit of calcification, and doesn't need a biopsy even. I will be seeing her for annual mammograms and followups in the future, though, and we will continue to watch this spot ( Read more... )

I had another MRI a couple of weeks ago and the follow-up appt this afternoon. My ortho started by saying something like "I hate it when I Get a call from a radiologist and he starts by saying 'what did you do to this patient?' ". But I was able to get in and out of the jacuzzi by the pool on the quiet port days, so now I am lobbying Tony for my back porch Jacuzzi soon.

Saw the breast surgeon this AM; she says there is less than a 2% chance the changed spot is anything to worry about, and given the rest of my medical situation right now, she recommends (and might recommend even if the rest were not what it is) that we take a watch and wait attitude: repeat right mammogram with ultrasound if needed in 6 months ( ( Read more... )

The ortho released me back to therapy, and wants me to let him know when the vascular surgeon thinks I'm healed enough for more surgery on the leg (maybe not this year). Call him for therapy prescriptions or pain meds as needed, and call for appt on as needed basis too ( Read more... )
