Things I have learnt...about cats

Cats have 32 muscles that control the outer ear. Each muscle is finely tuned and highly developed to help detect the subtlest sound of a can opener.

And entirely true. Our two can go from a comatose state at the opposite end of the house to clawing your leg within 3 seconds of opening a tin of cat food...
