Hi! It doesn't sound like you're enjoying school much. I'm surprised as there is usually so much more freedom of choice in coursework in a Master's programme. What are you taking?
Wonton soup is far superior to egg drop soup, imho!
Just think - only another month till baseball! James tells me that the Tigers are favoured to win this year, and that they've acquired the Jays' centre fielder - name forgotten.
It's not that I don't enjoy it as much as I don't have a passion for the classes I'm taking: Native American Lit and Federal Law and Drama Lit class for which I have a professor who believes the Shakespeare is the end all be all of all English literature and Drama. Working life is about all sorts of politics. I hate it too.
I wouldn't have purposely chosen those classes except the program I'm in is so small that literally there are 3 classes offered per semester and I had to take something. I figured it'd be nice to be challenged by things that I don't have alot of knowledge on and that aren't usually my cup of tea. That was supposed to be the point of the masters right?
Congrats on your anniversary! Sounds nice, going out to dinner and such. Having all day to prepare is also nice.
Nothing really is going on with me, work and school as always. I'm trying to work more so that I have more money but that's difficult. This week has been crazy with Trent traveling, catching up and work reports so I'm waiting til next week to give Trent his valentines day gift: taking him out to dinner and a Pistons basketball game. I'm excited about it. I'm not sure I'll be able to continue to keep the secret until then. In the meantime that's pretty much it. Anything new with you?
