Michael Gunn, a 21-year-old English student, told the Times Higher: "I hold my hands up. I did plagiarise. I never dreamt it was a problem.

This statement alone says it all. What a complete and total asshat.

LOL! Parents have tried to use that at my school before and it never gets very far. I had a parent in September accuse me of not teaching his daughter about plagiarism when I failed her on her first paper, but when I informed him that I'd also failed her for plagiarism on a paper last year (which she'd neglected to tell him), he was quite chagrined and left in a hurry ( ... )

"I won't get the degree I need," said Greedy Lazy Student, "But I shall have downpayment on a condo and a new car with the settlement from the lawsuit of my dreams."

but they have taken all my money for three years

Why didn't I think of this in High School - "My father paid for that diploma, just give it to me already." Ah, junior year would have been so much easier. And they probably would have had to give him some sort of rebate for summer school - not make him pay more.

Kids today, so smart.

/tongue in cheek

Take Care
