Tonight is the first night of Passover. Instead of going to a seder, I'll be at a church, rehearsing music for Good Friday. That loud boom you hear is G-d smiting me good and hard.

I'm sorry you will be missing out on a seder. But I will be thinking of you. (although for some reason I thought that Passover begins tomorrow evening at sundown... I must not have understood my school calendar). I wish you a happy Passover!

For what it's worth, our principal violinst, Prof. Larry Shapiro (who teaches at Butler U.) will be rehearsing with us tonight, for the Verdi Requiem.
