DFW is currently at 6.53" precipition for June. Highest ever was 1928 - 11.58" So, not quite, but pretty high! Another .24" and we'll be in the top 10. Considering the 6.53" is through the 25th, I think we're gonna hit it by end of month.

I never care WHAT it is that makes my lawn green, as long as it is. I'd be perfectly happy with a lawn full of clover or moss. Easy care, green, and soft! ;)
The rain here is getting pretty obnoxious, but not as obnoxious as our neighborhood sending out the guys to weed-whack the grass every other day and me being awoken by the chain-saw noise of their machinery. I guess our plants are growing faster than they were used to, say, this time last year.
Why didn't I choose to plant my hibiscus and jasmine *this* year as opposed to last year, when the heat and dryness killed them?!!
