Actually, I agree with you. Our country has really turned its back on God, and naturally, just like what has happened to Israel since Moses, God's wrath comes. New Orleans was a city of sin. I really do believe that's also why Sept. 11 happened. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." If we want God to heal our land, we gotta turn to Him. The ironic thing... the name "Katrina" means "purity." Hmmm, maybe God wants to purify New Orleans. I definitely agree.

Also, think about our nation. Our lax view of morality, or silly justifications for murdering countless unborn. Can you look at things like Katrina and say that God's wrath doesn't exsist today?

But more importantly, God's mercy still exists today. And i would hope that the terrible, devestating event is a wake up call to us all. It is such a great opportunity to show others God's mercy!

PAtrick, I really appreciate your bold statements of faith.

I also missed seeing ya at Focus last night!

Sorry Dude i was at the recoring studio on wednesday night otherwise i would have been there, but the good thing about abortion and unborn babies is that they are automatically taken to Heaven(not paradise) and God raises them and that is so awesome,
not that i am pro abortion or anything
