Blarg the trollish healer had just finished clearing out the water temple but, unfortunately, the Snake from Beyond had hit me a couple times and I became corrupted with the dreaded Unholy Aura. I died about 30 minutes latter.

I hit the Banshee level and, although I was wearing the wedding ring, I somehow stepped out of her sight and she must have used her wail on some other monster. Next thing I knew I had died to the banshee.

I tried to get one of my friends to play. His experience went like this:

1) Walk over to first dungeon.
2) Step up to first door.
3) Try to open door.
4) Trap explodes and he dies.

I never got him to play again. . .

Also, I have only made it past the Tower of Eternal Flame once and that is considered the mid point of the game. I have only been playing on and off for seven or eight years though so there is still hope.

ok, I no longer feel bad that I have Never beaten, or even Finished a game in my life. Not even an old nintendo game...
