Hey all you drummers! I started teaching the drumline at my church, but it's been like 4 years since I've played anything. Anyone know any hints or tips, or maybe websites that have warmups or cadences that I can download for free? And also where I can get practice pads and sticks for less money? Sixteenth note double stroke rolls @ 200-210 bpm for at least 5-6 hours straight.

It's a good warmup.

Cadences and warmups and stuff can be easily found on the interweb, but the biggest piece of advice I'd give to you as a teacher is always, ALWAYS ALWAYS use a met for anything ANYTHING you play or teach. Also, you should try to think of everything an intermediate drummer should learn (I'm guessing these people are intermediate? Or perhaps novice) and write a couple warmups yourself. Or one nice little diddy that encompasses everything that they should be practicing into a medium-longish exercise that can be played at a large range of different tempos.
