I'm glad things went well with your brother. I'll be thinking of him! Illness is never easy to deal with.

I think there is always some baggage that comes with hitting one of the "milestone" ages. I didn't really get anything at 21 or 30. 25 was a bad one for me. For some reason I had a hard time with being "a quarter of a century old." My hardest birthday was 28, actually. I don't know why. 30 was a breeze. 31 was a breeze. I expect 32 will be, too.
