Disclamer: We own the plot. JE owns Arashi. And now Arashi is going to own my wallet. If I/we did own Arashi, things would be different.
Summary: If things went down hill and dropped you in a place you didn't want to and couldn't handle, how would you live with it. If your family disowned you for the stupidest reason and made it so you were kicked out of school leaving you with only the job the you got thanks to your best friend how would you live? What if the only person that could come close to knowing what you felt was someone you couldn't dare be seen with?
A/n: So I didn't know what to put for a summary....yeah. Anyway, This is the beginning of a new fanfic my myself and greentea287 . I didn't want to post it till we got to..you know what I'm not going to tell just read. But I figured I'd post it now since we got done how we wanted it done. It moved along pretty fast in my opinion. Hmm...Also I wanted to post the first chapter on my birthday, makes me feel special >.< I want gifts. Fanfiction, pic spams, anything. Just I want gifts. PLEASE!!!! *puppy eyes* Enjoy!!!

Sho was not enjoying his job. He never really accepted his current occupation, but it wasn’t his fault, it was just the workings of circumstance. When you get into college and can go because of your father’s power and higher stature things can be nice, unless you have a mind and opinion of your own and like to voice them, then things can kinda, go against your power. You could wind up kicked out of the prestigious school with one year left.

This is why Sakurai Sho, heir to Chesto Enterprises was stuck working, no longer part time, at a coffee place called Believe. He got the job thanks to his friend Aiba, his good friend from college who was a little younger than him, and they usually got to work the same shift. When it wasn’t busy Sho would stand there with Aiba talking, or complaining it all counted upon his mood, until it got busy again or someone’s shift was over.

Sho hated his job, but it wasn’t always like that, he use to enjoy it. Back when he was a freshmen in college, and he had just started getting use to not dealing with his father’s reasons for taking over the company on a daily basis he figured to get better us to the world he would get a job. It so happened in his favor that his new friend, Aiba Masaki who happened to be his room mate, was working at a little café and they needed help. Sho took the job as fast as he could.

When his father got wind of this things didn’t work out so well, he was allowed to keep the job for a while, but once he entered his third year of college it didn’t work out. They avoided the subject for half the year then…. There was ignoring, yelling, slamming of doors, and finally…the cut off. It happened in a week. Sho lost all the endorsement his father got for him, then his classes dropped him one by one, and finally, he was kicked out and had two weeks to get out of the dorm.

Aiba told him that he would get an apartment so he wouldn’t have to worry alone, but Sho didn’t want to burden him. Though Aiba being the caring person he is, didn’t listen and got the apartment anyway, at least Sho had a place to live now.

“I seriously can’t stand this Aiba.” Sho grumbled and he looked over the mail that was sent to him that day. He had a habit of taking whatever was in the mail box to work with him. “I mean look at this!” He held out a letter. “Dear Sakurai-san, we are sorry to inform you that you currently owe 22,342,552 yen. You have until the September 1st to pay it off or we will have to take action.” He put the letter down and held up another, “Dear Sakurai Sho-san, you still have to pay for the books for the previous year. It is a total of 89,365 yen. You must pay this by August 20th.” He folded them all up and stuffed them into the back pocket of his work uniform, “and I have three more of them back home.”

Aiba patted Sho’s back when he leaned on the counter. “It’s okay Sho-chan, you’ll think of something.”

“There is no way I can pay this by then.” He mumbled into his hands covering his face it hopes of hiding from the world. Things were not looking up for the man, and he did not like this, not one bit. Even Aiba’s helpful words of optimism didn't comfort anymore.

Sho was ignoring the world with Aiba’s hand patting his back when he heard someone clear his throat and Aiba’s rushed apology as his hand left Sho’s back. He lifted his head to look over at his first who was standing at his register taking an order. He then turned to look at the man standing across the counter and scowled. There was something different about this customer, the air around him, the way he carried himself, the fact that he was wearing a simple outfit yet looked as if he just stepped out from a photo shoot, and it kind of annoyed Sho.

The customer stood there with his arms crossed sunglasses low on his nose so you could see his eyes partly. His hair was black, or what seemed to be that it could’ve been a very dark brown and just barely touching his shoulders in that sweeping look with his bangs parted on the right so they swept to the left. Despite the warm spring day he had on a clad black long-sleeved v-neck shirt that started something that Sho couldn’t put his finger on. There was a thin black and white stripped scarf draped around his neck loosely along with a gold chain and a small pendant that was hidden under the neck of his shirt. His attire was finished off with a dark pair of grayish blue jeans with a black studded belt and black shoes.

Aiba priced to take the man’s order that was given in a highly rude tone that got under Sho’s skin, but he left it alone and just watched things unfold. Aiba brought the man’s iced latte that the man took a sip of before taking out his wallet to pay for. Aiba handed even rung up the coffee when the man started to complain about it tasting like crap or something that Sho wasn’t really catching as his friend started to apologize and stated he would make another.

Sho walked over to Aiba and stopped him just as he was about to walk over to make another. “Is there a problem?” Sho said roughly.

“Yes, but it doesn’t concern you.” The man said.

Sho crossed his arms, “I believe it does when you pretty much harass my friend and co-worker.”

The man scoffed, “I don’t have to listen to this.” He pushed the sun glasses up on the top of his head only to have his bangs fall back down into his face. “I am Matsumoto Jun and I can go any place I want for coffee.”

“Then why come here?”

“And I don’t have to explain myself to you.” The man named Matsumoto Jun grabbed his wallet and the latte and stormed out of the shop.

Sho smirked, “See he took the latte.”

“But Sho-chan….he didn’t pay for it.” Sho looked over at Aiba whose register was open and waiting for money.

Sho groaned and took out his wallet handing him a ten for the latte the man didn’t pay for then walking off ready for a break, maybe he could get off for it a little early.

--

Aiba was sitting in a restaurant a few days later waiting for Sho to come. He was in a little bit of a pinch and Sho was his way out, he hoped. He smiled when he saw Sho standing in the door way catching his breath looking around the shop for him. He waved the elder over with a big grin.

“Sho-chan!” He called hearing the sigh that he gave from across the shop. “Can you please help?” She closed his eyes and clapped his hands together as if he was praying.

“Help with what?” Sho said still trying to catch his breath.

Aiba opened on eye, “I don’t have enough to pay for lunch.” He mumbled. “Please!”

“Aiba, you know I can’t. I have to save up to pay for the stupid books.” Sho took out his wallet regardless and checked to see if he had enough money.

“I’ll pay you back!”

Sho crossed his arms but already knew what was going to happen. “You said that last time, and didn’t pay me back.”

“I’ll double it!” Aiba kept the praying status up.

Sho felt the eyes of some of the other people on him and sat down putting money on the table. “Fine.”

Aiba nearly jumped out of his seat when trying to call for the check. “I get paid tomorrow, remind me.”

Sho looked out the window. “Right.”

Soon Aiba was gone and Sho was alone at the table until they told him they had to clean it up. He then got up from the table and started to talk towards the exit when he hears someone call his name.

“Sakurai, was it?” He stops upon hearing the somewhat familiar voice and turns to face the booth that it came from glaring imidetly. Matsumoto Jun. “You sure do get around don’t you.” He got up from the table and walked over to Sho. “Did you eat?”

“No. And I wasn’t planning on it.”

“Sit.” Jun instructed pulling out the empty chair then sitting back in his own. Sho found himself sitting against his will.

They stared at each other for a while, not uttering a word, taking in the others presence. Sho was not liking this guy, which was strange since he usually got along with everyone. Maybe it was the current situation of money he was in. It annoyed him to see this guy, Matsumoto Jun, flaunt around showing off the fact that he has money while Sho was stuck working at a crap job trying to pay off the school for what his dad decided to drop. It wasn’t fair. Sure, he didn’t like the fact that he always got what he wanted and tried to do things without the help of his family, but this was ridiculous.

“I don’t have time to be sitting here.” He started to get up from the table only to be kicked in the shin and sat back down holding in his yelp.

“I wanted to apologize.” Jun said looking down at the table. “I don’t usually do this, but I should apologize to you and your friend.”

Sho grinded his teeth and rubbed his leg, “Apology accepted.”

They sat in silence for a while. Jun not really sure how to work words after that, and Sho trying to easy away the pain. A few times Jun would look up at Sho taking in what the older man looked like. His dark hair that worked itself into a wavy way around his face stopping just at his shoulders and bangs swept to the right with a few short hairs that went their own way on the top of his head. He eyes looked tired, just a bit though, like he’s had one too many sleepless night of worrying. He was a bit shorter than Jun, maybe by and inch or two, but his body structure was different, broader.

Jun was thin, with what could be mistaken as a girl’s figure at times depending on the length of his hair. While Sho, you could tell he had muscles. It was kinda of impressive, Jun thought, though he would never say anything.

Sho stood up finally, glad the pain in his leg subsided but knowing there would be a burse in it’s wake later. He bowed slightly and silently before walking off and heading back out into the breezy spring afternoon. Jun just stared at the empty seat.
