A/N: I forgot. So what!?
On a lazy Sunday afternoon Sho was walking to the convent store close to his and Aiba’s apartment. The latter had forgotten to go grocery shopping the other day so he was left with nothing to eat when he got up that day. He wasn’t too fond of the idea of spending the money he was using for school to buy his lunch but it was inevitable.
He paced the isles for something small but still filling, though he wasn’t all that hungry, just enough where it was this nagging thing in the back of his mind, when the cashier brought attention to a customer. Sho looked up while he was talking to the ‘rowdy’ customer.
“Sir,” He over heard. “You cant use the storm as a place to hid. Please buy something.” Sho looked over at the man he was talking to and cringed at the all to familiar hair sticking out from under a baseball cap. He looked down at the isles before him immediately as the customer waved the cashier off saying that he wasn’t hiding, merely shopping and keeping a low profile. Sho snorted as he tried to ignore what scene and move on looking for something for lunch still.
Still over hearing the conversation between the two Sho made his way to the register with a cup of instant ramen. It was better than nothing, he thought as that nagging hunger grew slightly with the thought of food. He was about to pay when the all to familiar voice was closer to him and he stiffened.
“Sakurai, right?” He didn’t look at the other as he pulled out his wallet revealing a 1,000 yen bill. He frowned at the little money that he had in his wallet remembing that Aiba still owed him money. He should be making the other buy him lunch. He took the bag with his ramen and tried to exit the store feeling a cerent someone following him.
When they were both out of the store and down the block a bit Sho turned to look at him and held back a glare. “Why are you following me?” He noticed how Jun had an inch or so on him in height and it only annoyed him a bit more about this man.
“Two reasons.” Jun said as he started to walk again putting sunglasses on even though they weren’t needed due to the sun being behind them. What a strange guy, Sho followed anyway in hopes of getting rid of the guy sooner so he could go eat. “I’m trying to keep away from some people.” He looked behind him to see Sho following with a dejected look on his face. Or was that a look of disgust? “And I wanted to apologize.”
“You already did that.” Sho said stopping when they reached a street corner. He as so close to home, he just needed to cross it and not turn and the building would be up always a bit. But he had to lose this guy first. “And I accepted.”
Jun frowned and his sunglasses slipped down his nose a bit so he could see the cars what went past them clearly. “But you obviously didn’t mean it.”
The light changed and Sho started to cross the street as he felt that nagging feeling grow more, but this time it was tinted with someone else he couldn’t name. He decided to call it annoyance, and it grew more and Jun crossed with him. He was about to voice a protest when the other grabbed his arm and started to run when someone called after him.
“What the hell?!” Sho said who couldn’t get his grip from his hand wondering where this strength came from in such a thin frame.
Jun didn’t answer at first as they ran past Sho’s apartment building and turned onto another street. “Just, follow me.”
Sho groaned. “I would like to eat my lunch.” He said then noticed he had dropped the bag when Jun pulled on his arm.
“I’ll buy you lunch. As an apology, then we’ll call it even.”
--
Sho crossed his arms as he sat across from Jun in a quiet, fairly empty, family restaurant that was god only knows how far from his apartment because he’s pretty sure that they ran for 20 blocks before ducking into the place. It was one of the quieter spots in Tokyo, that was pretty much all he could say if he had to call Aiba to ask the other to help him find a way home.
He didn’t pick up his chopsticks when the food came and just glared at Jun who had taken off the sunglasses and pushed the baseball cap up from his face a little bit but it stayed firmly on his head. That hunger was now being over powered by the annoyance and he wanted to storm of right then and there but didn’t because he had no idea where the hell he was.
They didn’t speak for a while as Jun began to eat and Sho sort of just sat there until finally he started to eat as well but didn’t let the frown leave his face no matter how good the food tasted.
Jun was about half way done his food when he looked up at Sho. “Do you forgive me now?”
Sho tried not to choke on his food because he had forgotten that this was a token of apologies. “I didn’t know I had to.”
“That’s kind of why I’m buying you lunch.” Jun said flatly.
Sho’s glare was back and met with one from Jun. “That’s not a sincere apology! It’s just some rich boy way of trying to make things right when they aren’t. It’s just a way of thinking everything will blow over when it doesn’t always happen that way. The world is deeper than that. People hold onto things more and don’t just let it go with a simple apologies presented buy food.” He stood up roughly and grabbed and put the napkin on the table. “I don’t accept it, and I am leaving.”
He walked out of the restaurant and straight for the first bus stop he could find while offering a call to Aiba so he could explain if he was late to work. He knew Aiba would cover for him, not that he was in any mood to work anyway. He was pissed. Who did this kid think he was anyway? Other than some rich brat who could get what he wanted. It as ridiculous and pissed Sho off every time he saw the face. But what got to him even more this time was the fact that at some point in time, even if it was just a short while, he saw the same in the world.
But then he learned that it wasn’t always whatever you wanted, things don’t happen like that so he didn’t rely on his family for everything and more on himself, his own ways of getting it and not the family name. And now, because of wanting to believe in himself and not the family name, he was suffering. The power of money was a scary thing at times.

Jun sighed as he pushed the doorbell button in front of Nino's flat, patiently waiting for his custom Mario themed door bell to finish. He took his baseball cap and glasses off as he tussled his hair with his hands casually.
"Ah Princess! You're early. Well come on in anyways." Nino turned around and did a vague hand gesture signaling the younger to come inside.
Jun barely took a step in before scowling at the stray game guides and cheats. "Unclean!" He remarked, stepping carefully over the papers and notebooks. He was use to it despite his reaction, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't get his friend to clean up a little more.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll pick them up later." Nino waved the matter off with his hand. The two made their way over to Nino's plain living room. They plopped down on the orange chairs and debated over which game to play. After a friendly squabble or five, they finally decided on Mario Kart 2. The game hasn't released in the public yet, but Nino always had his sources. "So how come you're here early Princess?" Nino asked as he narrowly avoided one of Luigi’s (Jun's) attacks.
"The meeting was... postponed" Jun said as he focused on beating his gaming addicted friend. "The meeting will be held tomorrow morning."
Jun added as his character hurled another green turtle shell. Nino smirked as he remembered how much the younger man hated early morning meetings. The memory was confirmed as he heard the heir whine. "Seriously, do they expect me to just wake up and automatically look this good?" Nino rolled his eyes as he saw a bomb land right in front of Mario's vehicle.
The magician quickly maneuvered away, letting the driver right behind him explode. "Damn Yoshi." Nino cursed at the dinosaur who threw the bomb and chuckled as he realized the driver that was caught in the explosion was Jun. The younger man growled angrily as he came in 5th place. "That's what you get for not paying attention Princess~" Nino teased and flaunted his way to his kitchen to prepare what Jun assumes to be the usual instant ramen.
"Wah, you savor your win now Ninomiya, I'll get you next time! It's Luigi's generation after all." Jun retaliated at his lost. He got up from the armchair and walked toward the rectangular dining table that was partially covered with stationary. He looked over them with mild curiosity before coming across a blueprint with detailed designs.
"You know you really are smart Nino." Jun commented as he analyzed the blueprint carefully. Nino came in casually slurping his instant ramen before raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah okay, tell me something I don't know." Nino said as he pulled up a chair to the dining table. Jun shook his head and pointed to the designs scattered across the table.
"I'm serious! These designs can change the world!" Jun exclaimed. Nino just looked at the designs and smiled wryly. He looked over them too before shaking his head.
"You're really exaggerating Jun-pon." Nino said as he drank the last of his soup. Jun sighed; it really was no use to convince his friend of how to properly utilize his talents. Nino stalked off to the kitchen to quietly throw away the ramen container. Jun looked around slyly, knowing full well there was no one in the house beside the two, and slipped a blueprint into his inside shirt pocket. He'll propose the plan at the meeting tomorrow and credit his friend properly. Maybe his company could make use of it.
"Sorry Kazu, I should get going now." Jun said as he made his way to the coat rack to slip his jacket on. The thought made the young man chuckle. The abode where you could barely see the floor in some of the rooms, manages to have a coat rack. His friend stepped out of the kitchen to wave him off.
"Thanks for coming Jun. And take care of those blueprints! It was a pain to draw them out!" Nino called after his the young heir. Jun winced as Nino mentioned the blueprint. How did the gamer know? Jun felt a little bad at being caught taking his friend's plans, but seeing the way Nino reacted, Jun was sure that he was okay with it.

Jun walked down the sidewalk with his head held high, eyes half lidded in annoyance and exhaustion. He really hated morning meetings. "Game Nikki" was on the other side of town from where the meeting was being held so Jun had to settle for the only place close by that he knew, "Believe". Don't get him wrong, all he wanted was his iced latte. Without it, Jun wouldn't be sure if the executives at the meeting would ever recover from what Jun might've done.
"One iced latte please." Jun grumbled whilst avoiding eye contact with the man in front of him. Sho's eyes widened before a glare settled in.
"If you want to talk about the other da-"
"Just. Get. Me. The. Iced. Latte" Jun interrupted with a glare so cold, it would even make Nino flinch. "Sakurai-san, please understand I would rather not talk about personal matters at the moment. I just would like the service of this establishment. I will pay this time just, just get the iced latte." Jun ended in a frustrated tone. Sho glared in response but didn't say anything more before walking off to fulfill the order.
"Ne, ne Sho-chan? That's Matsumoto-san isn't it?" Aiba whispered loudly to his close friend. Sho just nodded and quietly filled a cup with the ordered beverage.
"He's kind of in a rush Aiba, so he's not here to do any harm." Sho stated bluntly. Aiba just nodded with a closed mouth. He was mildly concerned about his friend's quiet attitude but did not action to resolve it. Aiba knew Sho enough that it was better to just wait out the storm instead of trying to make it better.
Sho stalked over to Jun, handing the cup to the heir a bit gruffly. Jun nodded his thanks and paid for it quickly, before catching a cab outside to get to the hotel where the meeting will be held.
"To the 'Pikanchi' hotel please." He directed to the cab driver. He sipped his iced latte and sighed in relief. The taste woke him up and put him in a better mood. By the time the cab pulled up at the 20-story hotel, Jun had finished the whole cup. He paid the cab driver and stepped out as regally as one can in a taxi. He threw away the empty cup that once contained his cool beverage, and strode over through the revolving doors of the hotel "Pikanchi". Greeting the secretary with a smile, he took the elevator up onto the 20th floor. The elevator stopped with a ping and Jun stepped out to walk into the reserved meeting room. The executives already were in their seats and nodded at the young man's presence. Jun cleared his throat and stepped up to the front of the room. He reached into his inner suit pocket and pulled out Nino's blueprint for a new gaming console Jun appropriately calls, "Nintendomiya". Jun explained to the executives about the new console, though he was mostly reading off the blueprint. The console had state of the art holographic technology and a separate pair(s) of goggles which introduce the player to virtual reality. The materials to make the system are relatively cheap as it uses a combination of old design programs. After his presentation, the idea was widely accepted. Jun walked across the room to the exit afterwards and began to walk out when he saw something that caught his eye.
"E-Excuse me Hiroki-san!" Jun called after the young heir to a renowned informative magazine company. The man in question stopped and greeted Jun with a wave.
"Great presentation Jun-kun!" Hiroki congratulated. Jun nodded in thanks.
"Hiroki uhm... may I see that magazine?" Jun asked slightly embarrassed but with a sense of urgency. Hiroki looked at Jun in a questioning manner but handed it to the man anyways. Jun took the magazine and looked at the cover with wide eyes.
Sakurai Sho heir to the famous "Chesto Enterprises" has been DISOWNED!!
Where is he now? How will he live on??
Reporters have included leads on p.10
Jun quickly turned to page 10 and skimmed through the short paragraph. There was no substantial information on where Sho currently was or is doing. From the picture on the cover and on this page, there was no doubt in Jun's mind that this was the same person who has caused him so much trouble recently. He muttered his thanks and asked when the magazine was from.
"Ah, this is a preview of the next issue actually." Hiroki said with a smile. Jun expressed his thanks once again as he walked out to take in all the information. 'Sho used to be the heir of "Chesto Enterprises"?' Jun repeated it over and over in his head. Jun, himself, was heir to the "Marvelous Factory”, one of the biggest brands to the gaming industry. Their brand is also known for their infamous rivalry with the previously mentioned "Chesto Enterprises". Jun blinked and frowned and contemplated.
Turns out Sakurai Sho plays a bigger role in his life after all.
