I adore this Serenity reimagining, and I have to admit that one of the things I lust after most in it is Daniel as a Companion, so you hit a bull's-eye for me here. *g* This has the UST, the Moment When They Crack, the Hot, and the Angst all rolled into one. Plus stuff like the sheets pulled from carefully tucked corners, leaving the mattress naked, which kills me ded. And groaned unprofessionally -- mmmmm.

You have no idea how completely happy it made me to write something that made a lick of sense! And Daniel as a Companion is hitting a bull's eye for me, too.

Oh, and that sentence you quoted killed me ded, also. Literally I wrote it and died. Thankfully Daniel was kind enough to help me Ascend. I am now speaking you from a higher plane.

Wow. Well done. I love the mix of fandoms, the two really fit better together than I would have expected. Harsh at the end, but just exactly what I can see happening under the circumstances. Hot and sweet and painful all at the same time.

Thanks. I, too, was surprised at how well these fandoms mixed. The further I get into this world the better it gets.

You know Mal!Jack and Inara!Daniel can't have a perfect first time; that would be out of character. ;)
