Thanks to bk2w for helping with the fun that is getting the wheels off and back on, through an overtorqued rear axle bolt and a shredded mounting hole for the left front brake caliper. I now have a rocking Torque Wrench and a mondo breaker bar, oh and I owe Tim a new screwdriver that got kinda bent by the turning rear axle.

Ummm ooops.

At least not without a fairing. Wind hitting you in the chest at 65MPH is a little bit scary. Last night I took the bike out to check the brakes and toodle around the neighborhood. I almost got hit once as a guy decided to jump across three lanes of traffic to make a right turn. I looked like a bannana riding a motorcycle, how do you miss that ( Read more... )

and I ask him what is the next project I'm working on. His response was relax for now. I was so wired from all the work on the last project I am having trouble winding down from it. Went to the gym last night for the first time in . . . well forever. Did my twenty on the stairmaster, didn't think I would finish, at the same setting I used to use when I was in shape then stretched and bouldered for about an hour. Went climbing at Mt Diablo yesterday with Matt and Leanna(sp?). Had a good time though it was colder than expected . . . probably time for Pinnacles trips. Worked up a crack and stumped at a tree I didn't wanna put any weight on rooted in the crack. Fell a couple of times on some low cruxes that I couldn't get past.
