did you know that it is, technically, incorrect to say over and out? i learned this from my dad the radio operator. over means you are done talking and they can respond. out means you are done talking and you are leaving. you are not supposed to say both at the same time because they mean two different things. haha wooooops this sounded all mean. but that wasnt the point. :) i was just spreading my you-learn-something-new-everyday knowledge. yayyyy. be happy.

Ooooh yeah, I totally learned that at Aviation Challenge, when we did some ground assault work with paintball guns and radios. The guy who trained us said that, if we said "over and out" that would mean he was free to talk at any moment (and would because he was a jerk) and give our position away. They also taught us the military alphabet, but i can't remember much ebsides Alpha, Charlie, Zulu, Foxtrot and Juliet. Maybe you could fill me in on the rest?
