I keep finding myself lost, trapped in a corner with nowhere to go but petty threats. I hate it when Rachel and I are like this, simply because I say the most retarded things that I can just hoping that she will break down and just stop being the way she is, which as always, fails. I can't stand leaving an argument upset, it doesn't work that way

Have you both sat down to discuss these things? Sometimes as a woman, we just expect our men to be perfect and read our minds. "Well, I noticed the dishes needed to be done, why didn't you?" for example. But we forget that we aren't you, and men just function differently. It can be very helpful to sit down and have a heart to heart about these things. It can seem very mundane, but if you look at the strife it's causing... it's really not a small matter at all.
