help on MS

i am trying to find out about universities at the frontiers of robotics research. Can anyone provide me with some info on the prospects of MS at Japan?

also, general info on other universities around the world doing serious robotics stuff. my interests are mainly distributed/collaborative robotics, self-reconfigurable robots...
