i have to make the hardest decision of my life...i have been with matt for 2 years now and we have had an amazing time together and he helped me grow into a more mature adult. so how can i live with the fact that he no longer wants to be with me right now and is debating on whether or not to date amber? i want to be able to be ok with this and be ( Read more... )

You will be a different person in three years, he will be a different person in three years. One of you will always remember the pain they gave the other person and that is quite alot to work out. That being said I hope you have got this figured out.

Relationships never work on logic, so you won't.

And yeah it helps to think of it as the other persons loss for not staying, but you can't be pissed anymore no matter what he does with his life without you. You just can't Jackie.
