I just realized I'm a parent. I'm sitting at work, leaned over to pick up my laptop, and realized I was singing "a cookie is a soooommeetimes fooooood, a cookie is a sometimes food" That is all.
Yeah, I have had that realization a few times myself. The first came for Heather and I both as we were road tripping back from Atlanta to Durham. It was 3 am, Eoghan was passed out, we had played EVERY cd we brought about 17 times, all except one...Eoghan's Veggietales "silly songs" cd. I must admit, it was fun singing "The Pirates who don't do anything", at the top of our lungs at about 80 mph down the highway at ass oclock in the morning.
If you want a real winner, pick up Barenaked Ladies new kid's album. It's fan-freakin-tastic.
I also sing the "cookie is a sometimes food" song all the time. That, and all the other songs from that particular episode of Sesame Street. It's recorded 'cause it's her favorite!
