Had another check engine light by the time I got to work this morning. Since everything else checks out as looking good, and the mechanic says he can't see any reason for it to fail on me, I'm just going to keep going. Got my car back again. The mechanic went down a laundry list of things he looked at; valves, wires, bits and bobs. The plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor he replaced, I'm told, were actually factory original parts.
