Since some of my friends on LJ have been posting about the uselessness of religion and the lie that is a Supreme Deity, I figured I'd post a little response which does not necessarily reflect my own views, but which I figure could possibly spur a few interesting comments.  I'll give my own comments in response to any which may appear.  The article

Indeed, the militant atheists are no better than the fundamentalists whom they attack. However, truth be told, it is the fighting of ideological truths which pit such parties together whereas the more liberal and accepting individual, the quintessential one being a relativst, sits back and watches the bickering ensue
