How expensive would a flat be in the Charing Cross neighborhood? Like a little crappy one. Oh yeah, or what about the neighborhood where Jack the Ripper used to kill hookers. I really want to live there. Isn't it called White Chapel or something?

unless you lived in student halls round there, even the crappiest littlest flat in charing cross would be astronomically expensive. i have no idea how much, some of the other people on my list could tell you, i dont know who reads the comments tho..

Jack the ripper murdered people in little side roads off of white chapel road. The places are pretty expensive... commercial/ office space, unless you manage to find a tenant trying to rent off a council flat, which to be honest is near enough not going to happen. The best area around there is probably around shadwell tube… I think, where you could get a place for around £180 a week (2 bed). Check gum tree.com for the best prices. Alternatively… go to kings university and get halls around there for a lot cheaper/ less hassle.

Thanks a lot. I probably couldn't ever afford to live in London anyway. My dad lives near Maida Vale tube stop and well, let's just say I couldn't believe how much he was paying for a flat.
